Covid Precautions

At Foot & Ankle Specialists of Ames, health and safety is a top concern for both you and your family as well as our staff. We are taking extensive precautions with cleaning, utilizing sanitizer, and requiring masks for office staff as well as for patients. We ask that if you are able, please come alone to your visit. If you require assistance, please limit it to one person with you. For children, please limit the visit to one parent. If you would like to have someone with you remotely, we can utilize technology to have a second pair of ears with you!

We know that during these difficult times that you may choose a telemedicine visit for a non-urgent issue. You will need a device that allows for audio and video capability. A stable internet connection is also important. If you schedule a telemedicine visit, the day before your visit we will send you information to log in.  If it is determined that an in person visit is needed for evaluation or care, we will work with you to get you scheduled and answer any questions that you have about an in person visit and the precautions that we are taking.
